Ubud is the cultural heart of Ubud. It’s probably one of the most popular places in Bali. Ubud is a good base for exploring Bali, especially when you have a great place to stay. However, there are so many good homestays in Ubud, it’s just difficult to make a decision. You can choose a very basic guesthouse in the city centre of Ubud. It will cost you only €15 ($16 per night for two persons). A little luxury won’t hurt, will it? You can spend the night at the Hanging Gardens in Ubud as shown in the picture above. But it will cost a little fortune. Luckily there are some cheaper options. Here are the 10 best hotels in Ubud with an infinity pool!

1. Lotus Villa Ubud – €35 ($39) per night  ***

Lotus Villa Ubud is a 10-minute drive from the lively center. At this place you can completely undwind. The infintiy pool overlooks the rice fields. The hotel rooms are nice and clean. During the high season you pay around $39 (€35) for a deluxe double room incl. Breakfast and during low season you can have a room for only $22 – €20! Other guests rate this property with an 8.

2. Pertiwi Bisma 1 – from €47 ($52) per night ***

This is a pretty good deal! During high-season a room costs €67 ($70) but during low-season, you can stay here for €47 ($50) only! The location of Pertiwi Bisma 1 is ideal. The famous Ubud Monkey Forest is a 5-minute walk away. It takes 10 minutes to walk to Ubud Market, the old Ubud Palace and the famous Antonio Blanco’s Museum at Campuhan River. 3. Desak Putu Putera Cottages – from €53 ($58) per night ***

Desak Putu Putera Cottages has a beautiful infinity pool with jungle view. This hotel is located in Ubud, Bali, a 10-minute walk from the center. There are many nice restaurants and bars within walking distance of the hotel, although the accommodation has a restaurant itself. The rooms are luxuriously equipped with everything you need. During high season you pay $58 / €53 per night for a double room incl. breakfast. During low season you might find a deal for $48 / €42 a night. Guests are very enthusiastic and rate this resort with an 8.6!

4. Sunset Hill – from €56 ($62) per night ***

Sunset Hill offers amazing accommodation with an outdoor pool and breathtaking views of the Jungle and Wos River. It is a short but beautiful 20-minute walk to the city centre of Ubud. A Budget room for two persons costs €63 (or $66) during high season in July and August. You will find a lower-priced room off season. The hotel has excellent guest recommendations. 5. Alamdini Resort Ubud – from €64 ($72) per night ***

This is one of my favorites. This resort very instagrammable is quite new and is located in the city centre of Ubud. With a large outdoor pool and stylish rooms.  A hotel suite costs €76 ($80) per night during high season for two persons. The rooms, as well as the pool, are amazing! 6. Beji Ubud Resort – €76 ($85) per night****

Beji Ubud Resort is in Bali’s heartland where Oos and Cerik Rivers meet. Enjoying beautiful jungle views and surrounded by tropical gardens, the resort has 5 outdoor pools and yoga classes. A free scheduled shuttle service takes guests to Central Ubud 3 times a day. A double room costs €105 / $110 (or less if you are lucky). This hotel scores an 8.4 on average!

7. Calma Ubud (Suites & Villas) – from €96 ($107) per night****

Aaaah… how bad do you want to be in this infinity pool? This resort simply breathes Bali! Calma Ubud is a beautiful hotel, I mean … look at that view! From the infinity pool you overlook the beautiful rice fields. The resort is just outside the city center but there is a free shuttle service (at set times) to and from the center of Ubud. The hotel has a restaurant and a snack bar. You can also use room service or enjoy a wonderful massage. So you become completely zen here. The rooms are also beautiful, you will immediately feel at home. A room costs €118 / $131 in high season and around €96 / $107 during low season. This resort has been rated with a 9.2! Heaven!

8. Alam Ubud Culture Villa – from €105 ($116) per night ****

Alam Ubud Culture Villa and Residence is awesome! Check out the pics on Booking.com. Alam Ubud Culture Villa And Residence has two spring water swimming pools with amazing views of the river valley and forest. It has free shuttle services to Ubud Centre. Unfortunately, it is not cheap to stay here. One night costs €135 or €105 depending on the time of your stay. But you’ll get a villa in return.

The best infinity pool of Ubud! Ooooo I want to be that girl in the swimming pool! This is my favorite infinity pool in Ubud! What an incredible view. Goya Boutique Resort is a luxury resort with beautiful rooms and great services. Ubud Monkey Forest is 600 m from Goya Boutique Resort, and Ubud Market is half a kilometer from the property. Prices per room vary from €176 to €279 ($185 to $294) per night. Other guest rated this hotel with a 9.5 on average.

I want to be here. Pack my suitcase and never leave again. Nestled on Ubud’s hillside, overlooking Petanu River, Kamandalu Ubud has it all! The view from the infinity pool is amazing. It provides free shuttle services to Ubud’s town centre. During high-season, you’ll pay €235 per night ($249), but it will be worth it!
